Queso Fundido Con Chorizo
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. Mexican chorizo
- 2 each Red bell peppers, medium diced
- 3 each Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 8oz. Cream cheese, room temp.
- 8oz. Shredded Cheddar; Monterey jack cheese
- 2oz. Mexican crema or sour cream
- 3 each Green onions, sliced
DIRECTIONS
- Sauté chorizo until browned, remove from pan and drain excess grease.
- Sauté peppers and garlic in the same pan, season with salt and pepper.
- Combine chorizo and pepper mixture, allow to cool. Fold into cream cheese, shredded cheese and crema
- Pour mixture into an oven safe baking dish and broil for 8-10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with shaved green onion and serve with warm tortillas
